Katy Perry opened the Joy Awards 2026 in Saudi Arabia.

It was Katy's first time in Saudi Arabia, and she loved it.

The singer praised the purple carpet, rather than the typical red carpet that you see at award shows.

Katy posted on social media, "Grateful to be able to shine my light through my songs and present Favorite Female Singer 🤍 thank you @joyawards #riyadhseason @turki ".
